What is Plywood Cladding?
Exterior Cladding (available as Shadowclad or Weather Groove) are exterior plywood products which can be used for both decorative and bracing purposes and available in either primed or un-primed. Both products are sustainably grown, which is a major environmentally friendly benefit for any project you are working on.
Alternatively, Plyco's Interior Cladding products (such as Laminex Surround and Designer Groove) offer decorative options to walls that enhance aesthetics and insulation.
Typical Cladding applications
Exterior Cladding is used widely throughout building and construction and as a result it’s used in a number of different projects. Shadowclad can be used for anything from resorts and hotels, stables and agricultural buildings to things like premium industrial structures.
Meanwhile, the fast installation of Laminex Surround and Designer Groove panels is popular amongst DIYers.
Shadowclad Production Process
Shadowclad is produced from Pinus Radiata veneers, bonded with an A-Bond adhesive and manufactured in accordance with Australian Standards.
The finished sheets are H3 LOSP preservative treated to provide long-term protection from decay. Shadowclad Groove and Shadowclad Texture are decorative sheets with a band-sawn surface and with a groove profile option.
