Plywood Cladding
Plyco's Shadow Clad provides a beautiful, sustainably grown, exterior plywood used largely within the construction industry for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
What is Plywood Cladding?
Exterior Cladding (also referred to as Shadow Clad) is an exterior structural plywood product which can be used for both decorative and bracing purposes and is available in either primed or un-primed. The product is also sustainably grown, which is a major environmentally friendly benefit for any project you are working on.
Two different finish options are available for Shadow Clad. We offer both a Natural Finish and a Primed Finish, which each have the option of coming in Grooved or Textured. All Exterior Cladding comes in 12mm thickness, while we offer two sheet sizes for each variety: 2440 x 1216mm and 2745 x 1216mm.

Shadow Clad process
Shadow Clad is produced from Pinus Radiata veneers, bonded with an A-Bond adhesive and manufactured in accordance with Australian Standards.
The finished sheets are H3 LOSP preservative treated to provide long-term protection from decay. Shadow Clad Groove and Shadow Clad Texture are decorative sheets with a band-sawn surface and with a groove profile option.

MDF Applications
Standard MDF is primarily used for interior work, while Moisture Resistant MDF can be used for some exterior applications as well as in moisture prone areas like kitchens, laundries and bathrooms.
MDF is able to be easily painted, cut, machined and cleanly drilled without splintering or chipping. These qualities mean MDF is great for applications like shop fitting or cabinet making.
