Greetings Laserply Lovers,

We'd like to inform you about the current situation regarding our 3mm and 6mm Birch Laserply. Due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, our regular supply of Laserply Birch has been impacted.

In our commitment to providing uninterrupted service for your projects, in August we announced the arrival of Latvian Birch Plywood as a substitute for Russian products. While the foundational quality of this product remains consistent with our standards, it's become clear that the face veneers on this alternative are slightly thinner compared to the Russian Birch.

Some users may notice potential engraving challenges, specifically, the possibility of burning or soot marks if the laser ends its engraving on the glue line of the plywood. We have consulted with professional laser cutters who have advised adjusting engraving depths to either remain above or completely bypass this glue line, ensuring optimal results.

We deeply regret any inconvenience this might cause and appreciate your understanding during these times. We are committed to assisting and supporting our woodworking community in navigating this situation, ensuring your projects remain of the highest calibre.

Thank you for your continued trust in Plyco.

Warm regards,
The Plyco Team
